Appearance: If Zexion was female, the perfect word to describe him would be petite. He is both thin and, though he hates to admit it, vertically challenged standing just shy of five-foot-five. His hair is a slate grey color and layered, with the longest length stopping just past his chin; he is in a constant struggle with his fringe which falls into his eyes almost constantly, particularly his right eye. He has a fair complexion and childlike facial features, however it is his grey-blue eyes that take in his surroundings with a calculated conciseness that give away his age. He has no tattoos or piercings to speak of as that sort of thing has never held much interest for him.

Personality: Zexion is a researcher bone through bone. His greatest joy in life is learning everything he can about everything he encounters and is particularly fond of taking things apart to see how they work then putting them back together. He is incredibly intelligent and has a tendency to talk in a condescending manner when speaking to those that he feels are less intelligent than he is; he also has a cunning wit, often making biting remarks.

Zexion is incredibly manipulative and can easily talk people into doing things for him; he manipulates situations so that the outcome almost always benefits him, however sometimes his manipulations backfire and he then has to talk his way out of situations. He hates getting his hands dirty and would rather talk his way out of a fight.

If a situation does not allow him talk his way out of it, he will fight and take mental notes for later use. He approaches everything as a scientist would, with a critical eye, and takes careful notes for later reference. Thanks to his scientific approach to life, he has a tendency to act coldly as if he doesn't truly feel, but is just observing. He also has a tendency to treat people as if they are specimens to be examined and scrutinized.

There are very few people that Zexion cares for as he feels emotions only get in the way of his research. However, he is always willing to share and debate theories with fellow colleagues and scientists. Truth be told, he enjoys speaking with fellow scientists as it is a learning experience and Zexion values nothing more than knowledge.

Backstory: Early on Zexion showed a talent (and passion) for the sciences. His parents sent him to a private school for gifted children; there he had access to every book he could possibly imagine along with the finest professors. He spent his time studying, learning and reading. Once he reached high school level, he became a junior assistant for one of his professors where he helped test theories concerning how the mind and heart were related. He graduated top of his class and was accepted to a prestigious university known for its science department.

Zexion spent most of his college years coming up with theories that he intended to test once he graduated and was working for a research center with a reputation equally as prestigious as his university's. For four years, he studied as hard as he could, forsaking friendships and a social life in favor of learning. Once again, he graduated top of his class. However, he was never offered a job with some prestigious research center like he had planned. Every place he applied said his theories were too edgy or controversial. It quickly became apparent that he was not going to find a job with some world famous center, so he started looking to the second class centers. Even they would not take him.

Then along came a glimmer of hope by the name of Rapture. He packed up his belongings and not once in the seven years that he's lived in Rapture has he looked back.

Starting Plasmids: Zexion has two plasmids: Target Dummy ~~because creating clones of himself was something he could do in the game~~ so he can run away from situations that have backfired and Hypnotize Big Daddy because he does not like to get his hands dirty (why fight when you can have someone else do it for you?) He also has two tonics: Armored Shell which comes in handy when running away and Clever Inventor because anything that can increase his intelligence is a good thing in his books.

Occupation: Scientist, specializing in matters of how the heart, mind and how they relate.

The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity.
